Lecturer in Public Policy

The School of Government and International Relations has integrated world-class research and teaching into a specialist degree program that is small enough to ensure every student receives the attention they deserve. The opportunity
As a Lecturer, you will be expected to develop a research profile, engage in teaching activities, and contribute to the service and external engagement profile of the school. This will be evidenced by high quality publications and research income; strong teaching evaluations and other evidence of teaching excellence; effective higher degree research supervision and completions and a well-defined, well-executed service contribution and external engagement agenda.

This is a continuing, full time position based at the Nathan campus.

About you
The successful candidate will hold a PhD in Political Science or Public Policy with demonstrated knowledge, skills and experience in teaching at the tertiary education level in the field of public policy and/or public administration. You will have the demonstrated ability to high quality research and publish in leading international journals and/or book presses. In addition, the person will have effective communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work in a collegial manner and contribute to the positive culture and aspirations of the School.

Salary range
Lecturer, Level B: $94,361 – $112,057 per annum. Salary package including 17% employer superannuation contribution: $110,403 – $131,108 per annum.
